From as far as I can remember I have always used some form of art to keep my thoughts focused. As a child I suffered from severe asthma attacks, this kept me grounded and to keep me from bordom. My mother surrounded me with drawing utencils as a way to keep my mind busy.
Just over 5 years ago I ventured onto ebay as a way to sell my art worldwide. This was a wise move on my part. The first 2 years were slow and the art produced was more for the customer than what I truely desired to create.
The Source...At the start of the 3rd year on ebay my world was rocked by the news that my soon to be born daughter was to start life with an abnormal heart. This changed my view on life and what will, can and does happen just because it does.... A few days after her 5th month alive she faced a number of operations to repair her mitral valve... During the 3+months that I spent with her I began to create characters that showed the emotions that related to myself, family and those who I met on a daily basis at the hospital...
The art that was created during that time launched me to a higher level both in quality and value. Today although my daughter is better but not out of the water she still remains to be a great source of inspiration to me...
I have received no formal schooling in art.. its raw, emotional and true to me... I hope you enjoy it... Thank you
